Rugby Dinner 08
Dear Cluub members young and old,
It's that time of year again when we start to look forward to the biggest event in anybody's
calender the Rugby Dinner!
Many of you will be aware that this year is the Cluubs 50th and in celebration we hope that this
years Rugby Dinner will be the biggest and best yet.
To celebrate the plan is to get as many old boys, older old boys and the oldest old boys to
attend as we can, this will require the help of the entire cluub, whether you've been directed to this page or simply stumbled
across it whilst trying to find out what your old club is getting up to, we want you to attend and get
as many of your former team and club mates to do the same.
This year the dinner is back at Edgbaston Cricket Club
and is to be held on Saturday the 15th March 2008. Tickets will include a drinks reception,
3 course meal with bottle of wine each, and entertainment with the bar open until 3am. Edgbaston will cater for 300 people
so hopefully there should be plenty of room for everybody.
Tickets will cost £45 for students and £55 pounds for old boys (hopefully
you won't mind helping to keep ticket prices down for us poor students!). This year we shall also be giving you the option
of purchasing a special 50th year anniversary tie created by two top northern designers for the small
price of £12!
